Description

Needing a lot of PHPBB work done. I'm looking to get as many features that I want done completed as soon as I can, but not needing everything done right away or by the same person ( I understand a lot of the tasks range from simple to incredibly complex). I've made a list of SOME of the things I want done. if you think you can get any of these things done, I am willing to settle for anything.


- Chop the basic script up so that it's more minimal/clean. I want a lot of the crappy "boxed" features out that every single forum has. all the "rankings" and everything pushed around and basically cleaning up the entire script. I will have drawings and mocks up of what I expect. it isn't a lot and not a whole lot of knowledge is needed though if you have previous phpbb experience it might be easier. all you are doing is chopping and twiddling so this is the easiest thing ( i believe.)

- Creating user micro/photo blogs. I am really inspired by Japanese micro photo blogs which are really small simple minimal blogs with little content and often paired with cellphone pictures. I can provide links to blogs that would be good inspiration if you think you can implement a blog into phpbb. I wouldn't mind having the blogs customizable by the user with custom css overlays.

- A little more complex, but to have a shop system where they users could use "points" they receive from posting or given out by admins (contests, etc) to buy little images to overlay on their blogs, profiles and next to their avatar. (again I will mock up something to show what I mean). this is similar to Cyworld.co.kr, Gaiaonline.com, Whuddleworld.com and some others (usually asian websites, heh). I understand this can use some javascript which is a little more difficult to work with, but the basics are good enough. things like "charms" for profiles, or maybe to display little foods or drinks on a users blog that will dissapear in a certain amount of time (which they can buy from a "cafe". I like the idea of several stores. like a mall). this is more difficult, I think, so a lot of discussion and time would be put into this to assure it will be done properly and so that everyone is happy in the end.

-I would really like to have "articles", or public blogs created by admins only. Sort of more CMS (joomla, drupal). I don't know how to describe this but I want to have a system where people can read tips and ideas and news about new clothing lines or whatever else. recipes for cakes. girly stuff. it's more of an idea, but it shouldn't be TOO hard to implement, so if you're interested in that, it can be discussed further.


- If I make a mock of the theme, I'm hoping someone can script it in for me? I am no good at that sort of thing, and with a million failed attempts I really would rather just compose it in photoshop and have someone cut it up and script it for me. this is really important, but I don't know if it should be done after I've had some of the other features scripted.. or maybe to have the things scripted around the template? I've no real clue, obviously.
