Description

*** Project background

our ultimate goal is to have a CLONE site like one of the following.

http://www.cafepress.com
http://www.spreadshirt.com
http://www.zazzle.com/design/

We have php coders already, but do not want to spend the time to code something that may already exist. We are looking for a product customisation designer in flash or php that will integrate with oscommerce 2.2ms2 release 9 on our server (running linux, php 4.4.0 with GD2, MYSQL database). We will require full source code to be made available to us, to be modified by our coders in future as required.

Please send relevant samples of your work. Programmers with past experience with related samples will reviewed first. If you simply post your company profile or your website, we will ignore your bid.

We need a product design tool like http://www.spreadshirt.com/shop.php?sid=1000&affiliate=600. The tool needs to be integrated into oscommerce to allow the user to add the design to the cart with cost variables and admin in the oscommerce. This is an end to end project, we will pay only upon delivery of the final product to our satisfaction. We will not pay for half-developed or half-functional work.

A working demo is required, this is a serious project and requires attention to detail.

***Product Customisation Designer Tool

This is a project for a clone of the spreadshirt designer tool and the integration with the oscommerce shopping cart, including administration area. The designer tool should be an exact clone of the spreadshirt designer:

http://www.spreadshirt.com/shop.php?sid=1000&affiliate=600

The image upload part would allow everything the spreadshirt designer does, including:
- Pick the product (t shirts, mugs, bags, caps or any future products we want to intoduce).
- Customers can upload their image to be resized to fit the t-shirt, or choose from our own stock image gallery. The images can be in either jpg or gif.
- allow the customer to reposition the image on the shirt (front or back) within defined boundaries as in the spreadshirt designer example.
- then add text to the t-shirt that would be uploaded as an image, and position the text within boundaries as in the spreadshirt designer example
- Then allow them to add their comments
- add the t shirt to the oscommerce shopping cart, and allow customers to pay and complete their order.

***Administration
The administration should ideally be integrated into the oscommerce admin tool. However, if you have already developed an admin tool outside of oscommerce then we may consider that as well (show us a demo and we will assess if its ok). As shop administrators, we will need to be able to upload stock images (i.e. if customers don't upload their own images they can choose from our standard library of images like in the spreadshirt designer tool), as well as change the front/back pictures for t shirts, or mugs etc. that serve as the background for customers to add their image to. We must also be able to define the print boundaries for different products as in the spreadshirt designer.

All orders in the administration section must be clearly presented with what the customer wants, including product selected, various colours, positioning of images and text (front or back of shirt), and the uploaded image(s) so that we can complete the print job. These orders can be integrated with the existing orders section within oscommerce, or in a separate admin section in oscommerce for "customised" products.

There a lot of sites out there that are using the same type of script so I realize it is possible it is just a matter of someone cloning it as is and allowing us to upload and update our products.

The end result of this project would be for it to look and function just like the spreadshirt, cafepress or zazzle sites only using our products with oscommerce.
