I need an experienced website design team to upgrade the look of www.ElderLawCalifornia.com

The current site looks dated, I want a new, modern fresh look, something comfortable and friendly. We may keep some of the site elements, like the Flash headers, however the .fla and .psd source files are available to be re-worked if need be.

We are currently looking for a talented designer to create Dreamweaver CSS templates with simple yet elegant XHTML table-less layouts.
The ideal designer should know CSS, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Flash and ActionScript and be capable of writing w3 Standards compliant CSS code that validates http://validator.w3.org/.

The designer should be self-guided and willing and able to think outside the box. Please keep CSS layout separate from CSS styles and keep Search Engine Optimized Design in mind.

I would like to see a link that when clicked on would increase the font size of the text (CSS Style Switcher) for people who benefit from being able to read larger size text.

If you have any ideas of how to incorporate some nice AJAX features I'd like to hear them, i.e. tabbed panels, mootools, sliders, etc.


1. Submit a graphical mock-up of the front page redesign. It does not have to be fully functional, an image file of what you would do to redesign the front page is fine. Submitting mock-ups for other parts of the website is welcomed and encouraged.

2. Submit a portfolio of other completed websites you have worked on in the past.

3. If you're inclined, give me an idea of how you would improve the site and what technologies you'd use.


Bids will be considered based on a combination of price and your ability to address each of the requirements above.
