Description

Introduction
------------
We need a Joomla based website for a car yard company that is looking to post up used vehicle listings on their site. Users will have the ability to browse through a list of cars online with the use of dropdown subcategories and the site should have a search function in it.

We already have a design that has been finalised by our customer. This will need to be converted to a Joomla template (CSS/XHTML).
We are thinking of using Joomla with the EZAutos extension but would like to hear of any recommendations you may have.

You will receive the design in PSD format, the company logo upon and a more detailed design requirement document upon winning the project. Pictures and content will come at a later date during development.

We are looking to spend no more than $400USD.

Website Requirements

The following web design / coding requirements need to be met:
Web pages: (6) Pages will be created for this website (Home, Finance, Insurance, Service, About Us, and Contact Us).

The webpage will need to resemble the attached design mockup.
The bottom left hand side will change to display the information selected as the user clicks on the menu navigation at the top.

Google Map:
A Google map function that will display the company’s geographical location details.

Flash:
A flash banner on the main page on the top middle right hand side that will rotate between 3 images.

Dynamic Car Listing service:
This dynamic car listing service will allow customers to search / browse and view available cars listed by the client on the proposed website. As per the requirements, there will need to be administrative tools to allow the client to maintain and update their vehicle listing when required. Once again, we are thinking of using Joomla with the EZAutos extension but would like to hear of any other recommendations you may have to do this job better.

A page will need to be created to display the search results from the search enquiry generated from the home page.

Another page will need to be created to show the detailed vehicle listing.

Coding:
Web design will be built on a XHTML, CSS PHP and MySQL database backend. The website will must be built for a 1024x768 display resolutions that will display correctly on most browsers.
XHTML and CSS coding standards will conform to W3C standards (www.w3.org) in order for the website to be cross-platform compatible.

Search Engine Optimisation:
All pages will need to be Search engine Optimised for improved page rankings on various search engines.

Terms and Conditions
--------------------
• Before bidding, you must agree to sign a confidentiality agreement.
• The layout and design is final and should be built exactly as seen.
• On completion, you must send to us all source files and stock images used so that we can perform any website maintenance.
• Deadline is mid February 2009.
• Project should cost no more than $400USD. $200USD will be deposited into the escrow account initially to get the project started. The remaining will be deposited and forwarded to you upon approval of completion.
