I need a flash application to accomplish the following.

There will be a event which will be playing (progressive download). An event consists of multiple video clips. The playlist of these clips is predeterminded.

I need a flash player which loads up a playlist alongside the player. The playlist should have desription of the clip along with runtime of the video. Also even though there is a entry in the playlist for the clip it does not mean that the video is yet on the server. SO the flash player MUST CHECK before trying to play the video to see if it exists. If the video does not exist a message should be given "That video is not available yet"

The flash player should also be able to authenticate a user. We want to make sure that only those who are signed up and registered for this event are able to watch this event.

the code should more or less work like this other than added feature that the user has to be registered and logged in.
