Description:	We are Dux College, an education college based in Sydney Australia. We have just started, and are in need of a website which conveys the services we offer, our unique approach to education, our teaching staff and our teaching materials. We are looking to engage a web designer to make us a complete website including a backend file management system with integrated forums for our company. We imagine the whole site can be based on a CMS system such as Joomla or Drupal. Because our company just started, we also require logo design, and this will be part of the project. What is really important to us: A good looking, professional, clean looking website is very important to us. Therefore, we are looking for a designer who can demonstrate they are creative and have the skills and experience in making good looking websites. Only designers who can show us a portfolio of past projects will be considered. To get a good idea of what we expect in terms of quality, please look at the reference site below. Reference site: Our site will be similar to www.matrixeducation.com.au in terms of feel and structure. However, we are after a creative designer who can come up with something unique but also good looking. Note that we are absolutely not looking for a clone of this website. Specifications: The frontend will be mostly static, and have mostly static content. Some dynamic content (such as News) will be linked to the backend forums. All content must be easily updateable by staff (this is achievable using CMS) The backend will feature a file management system and a forum system for our students to use. The forum system will have a forum for each course we offer. This allows students to post questions after class, as well as allow for online discussion. The file management system will store our notes / homework / teaching materials which students can access through their unique login. Unique permissions and user types must be programmed, such that a student enrolled in courses A and B can only access materials and forums for those courses. Note that we will only specify in general terms the functionality we require, as well as the sitemap (i.e. what pages we need). The creativity and aesthetics will be left to the discretion of the designer. We are only looking for designers with good English, and who can provide us with a portfolio of past projects.
