Description

i have a number of oscommerce sites over the years about 5 in all to date
all have different versions the next one has always been better than the last,
the very last one i found was amaizing and i managage years ago to back it up then load it up to another site and then alter all the products etc i dont remember how i did this i was out of work at the time and had lots of time on my hands to play about ie i was bed ridden from a bike accident this was ten years ago and i be blowed if i remember how i did it,
however i started work on my sites again and because they have all the stuff in different places ie the front page edit
i had to follow the instrustions on oscommerce on the php files to work out how to put a picture on the front page on the new version thier is a simple define front page edit and it opens up like a word docunent with fonts insert picture etc that been easy as hell and i got used to it,
when i go bact to the others and want to change picture i cant even find out where the picture is stored.
so i am interested in if my newest one can be copied over to the other sites so the controls layouts are all the same without if possible destubing the products etc i have on it

the end result looks about the same but the control panels are greatly different the lastest being laid out a lot better,

i am looking for someone that can transfer all the wings and dings from the new to the old ones
and hopefully be about for more work in the future on them
i have tried to upload the backup file of the site but i think it is to large
i may go to register a new domain and have this file uploaded giving me another new oscommerce site identacul to the one i like and edit it to my requirements which if i remember was pretty easy to do all though that was in my younger days before my brain got old ,
o boy computers do my head in who knows may be best to scrap the lot and start again with the new version however i been told the products can be kept pretty simple that changing a site layout does not mean losing everything,
