Description

It is a fairly simple project for an above average php programmer, but I am currently just learning and get a little confused with transfering the data around.

Firstly, I need a form that consist of about 10 fields ( name, team, pictures, etc). This form will be filled out by a player, or an admin. Once completed, the form data will be entered into a TEMP database, then send an email to the admin, stating that a new profile has been created. In the email, I want a link that will show the information the player has entered. And on that page there will be a "accept" or "decline", to prevent fraudulant entries. Once accepted, I would like it so the admin could add a "Comment" that wil also be included in their profile, and then it will post it to the website for everyone to view.

2) the entries should be sorted by last name, with links for each letter of the alphabet at the top of the page. Team members are also one of the criteria of the form, and when someone views the profile, the team members listed will be hyperlinked to their profile.

3) I would also like to have an admin section that the admin (s) could edit/delete existing profiles.

4) The final output would go into a simple table based template. Also for the image if it could be automatically resized to fit into place, so that all profiles will look approximately the same, and to sow thumbnails at the botoom of other photos. When the other photos are clicked they will replace and be resized to the original placeholder.

This job is fairly easy, but I cant figure out how to transfer the temp data to final data.

the site is hosted on a linux server with php5 and MySQL.

This script is more of a time saver than a neccesatity, but I would appreciate some quotes on this to see whether it would be worth my while to create.
