Thank you for taking the time to review the following bid request. I have chosen this to be a very small project as most of the tasks needed to perform are either very simple or a description of the mod is available. If a function is not included in the script itself, I will mention this as this requires additional work by you, either programming yourself (!) or applying a mod (x).
It's basically the time I am paying you for. If you are not comfortable to be paid in between USD 3 to 10 per hour, depending on your efficiency, then please do not bid. It should not take you longer then 30hrs to work on this project.

We have several databases of hotels worldwide that need to be merged into one database. While merging, you need to make sure that duplicates are filtered out and correct spelling is adhered to. (!)

The database will be displayed through a directory script named PHPLD (www.phplinkdirectory.com) of which we hold a license. The database needs to be in a readable format for PHPLD. To receive information on the different database structures and on how it should look like for PHPLD, request more information through a private message to weed out all these general posters.

PHPLD will create SEO-friendly URLs for each Continent/Country/Region/City/Area.

Each individual listing should hold general Hotel information, the rating, price, room types, a picture, actual weather and forecast and links to different affiliate programs. (x)

Property owners may claim back their listing by paying a fee/backlink. To make sure it is the actual 'owner', he/she must enter an email address to which a confirmation link will be sent. (!)Providing a backlink only, the owner will be able to display his own URL instead of the affiliate URLs as these will be hidden. Payed listings will offer the ability to enter additional description, up to five pictures (x) and the actual location in Google Maps(x).

You will need to extend the basic functionality of PHPLD with a review functionality (x, but needs to be extended to include categories rooms, service, cleanliness, facilities, location, value) and bridge it to a forum (x).
