Description

I need a script to be written. This script will be able to create a unique tag or picture or something similar to include it in the emails I want to send. When the recipient opens the email this tiny picture in the email will be loaded and will notify the script that the email has been read by the recipient. It doesn't mather whether the image is visible in the email or not. I think it's a pretty simple project.

So this project has 2 sections:
First section is the documentation:
I need a detailed documentation on why the email delivery notification would be useful, and how will it be developed (I don't need any coding in the documentation). So it's more a research.

The second part will be the actual working script.

I need the documentation within a month, and the working script within 3 month.

* As there is plenty of time to do it, only low bids will be accepted.

I actually did this once upon a time - many a year ago! :) It's pretty easy to do, and basically just consists of the script generating a unique code that is appended to each URL sent to each client. So anyhow, I have done this before, and I am more than confident in doing it again!
