I need a Database the can help me keep track of volunteer + tasks.

The current process works like this: A worker wants a task to be carried out by a volunteer so they type out a Word.doc and E-mail it to me.

I then allocate a the task to volunteer and print out a copy of the task for the volunteer.

I then add the task + volunteer info into an excel speard sheet for reporting purposes.

I'd like it to happen like this..

Workers access a database/progam via the intranet and enter task details. (ie. time/ date, job will take, who to pick up , age of people ,etc etc)

The program/Database alerts me to the fact that a worker has entered a task and show details.

I need to be able to look back and see what volunteer did which task and how long it took + print out reports

Please take a look at the example contract /task form that i uploaded.

It's what a worker submits to me. I then try to find a volunteer to do the task. If i do find a voluteer i than add their name to the contract and print it out. (ineed to be able to ad alogo at the top and contact details at the bottom to print out.

Sometimes the details of the task need to be changed by the worker after the contract has been submited...And I need to know.

Sometimes I need to change something on a contract and the worker needs to know.


Sometimes a volunteer agrees to do the task then rings in sick and the worker needs to know.

Sometimes the worker cancells the contract and I need to know.

Sometimes I can't find a volunteer to do the contract and the worker needs to know.

At the end of the month I need to know how many hours each volunteer worked.

How many contracts didn't get completed due to lack of volunteers and how many hrs those tasks would taken to do.

I need to be able to see what contracts have been carried out by what volunteers and on what day of the week.

I need to be able to enter volunteer aviablity (days of week and time of day) and have this match to future contracts.
