Description

Hi,

I need a program/script that allows me to dump in an excel list, and then rename a group of files according to that list. There are two columns in the excel file, 1 is the original name, and the second column is the new file name.

Basically, what i want to happen is - the first column is referenced to find the file on my pc, and then it is renamed to what the second column says. To Illustrate:

Column A Column B
a.zip a123.zip

So it would find a.zip in my computer and rename it to a123.zip

I need this to continue for as many lines as I want. Prefer to have it as a excel macro (if it can be done) otherwise anything else will be fine as long as you explain how to use the script. (i have apache installed u just need to guide me through it)

might be easier to use a php script maybe and then just use http://localhost/ etc
