Description

Flash Media players require associated XML text files that contain HTML code. This code tells the media player category names, filenames, and file locations.

The job is to develop an application that will read a file structure of media files, and generate a set of XML documents that will properly drive the Flash Media player.

This app must be PC and MAC OS X compatible.

I am not sure what language this would best be written in. Please advise.

For example, the user makes a folder that looks like this picture, and the app would create an XML file like this:

Since you want it cross platform, I would prefer to do the work in Java (delivered to you either as a java JAR file, or as a windows EXE and OSX app bundle, as you prefer). But if you prefer C++, that will be done as well.

I can deploy this using Python or C++. Using standards libs, just recompile C++ code and run.
