This site would be no major issue, we can offer a stable platform, which would allow you to cluster servers if required for performance issues. All infrastructure will be free of charge (linux, tomcat, mysql). Look and feel will be entirely css driven, meaning that you could hire a designer to tweak the look of your site at a later date without impacting the inner workings of the site in any way.
