Description

We want to build a vacation rental site similar to vrbo.com. It does not not need to be an exact clone, but does need to provide all of the functionality of that site.

The basic premise of the site is that vacational rental owners pay a fee to post their properties online for rent. Web browsers (users) can search the site for free and find properties that they would like to rent.

Owners will need to be able to add listings to the site depending on geographical area. They may also upload pictures, description, contact information, etc. There should also be a calender feature for each property that allows the users to see availability of each property.

In addition, we have additional features that we would like to add to the site which are not available on vrbo.com or other vacation rental sites. However, since this is a potential marketing advantage, we will not post the details of this until it is time to choose a development team.
