Description: HI,
I want a website which can be executed off the LAN. So im thinking we could use html to create a website, as php needs to be on a server.
this website is an online knowledge repository. all its going to hold is documents which feature how certain tasks are carried out.

what i want is a site which looks interactive and neat. preferably something with frames so when i click on a link to open up 1 activity guideline, the menu bar on the left and the logobar on top remain the same. so incase i need to make a change to the menu i dont have to do it for each and every html page.

if there is any other type of site we can design which can be executed over the intranet, do let me know.

hi sir , i understand your issue . You need your file management on your local LAN right ? .. I know how to operate PHP on your regular computer sothat your computer can act as a php server. And i can build you the website you need also . I have done it and i operate such a server at my local lan already.

i am relatively new to get a freelancer, but not new to website design.. i will give you some free advice, which is something i do with all my clients... the advice or should i say knowledge is this... if you already have an intranet up and running, then all you need is the website uploaded to the network server... you do not have to have php enabled webpages in order for your site to work... from what i understand, you are looking for a simple site done in frames. your left frame is your menu, the right frame will be the content frame, and perhaps you will want a top frame to be the header...simple project... consider me for this project, i can help with your project... in fact, i already have... regards, UF...
