Description
Hi thereI need help ! I have a small reseller hosting business with about 30 clients each of which have websites that I have had my staff or contractors create.
After downsizing somewhat over the last 12 months I currently am looking for a couple of coders to help me out from day to day with changes and new developments that my clients request. I am not very rich and dont charge my clients as much as I probably should but I do have a fair bit of work to get through.
I need someone who will be available for 8-10 hours per day, about 3-4 days per week, to help me fix lots of little problems with a number of sites.
I am certain I will have enough to keep you going flat out and I am hoping to find someone that can quickly and easily read the code in our existing client websites and make accurate changes just as fast.
Please offer your best bid for 8-10 hours work and know that if you cope and work fast I will use you again, and will offer you more and more work on this basis.
Your 8-10 hour work block will usually start at about 1pm Australian time (GMT +10hrs). Please don't bid if this doesn't suit you.
I like to get involved with the whole development process but I am not a programmer so I really need people who are expert enough to make up for my lack of knowledge. (Having said that I know how to manage a project and I know how to assist you to wade through issues and problems quickly.)
You must be available on skype at all times while you are working so we can discuss work and problems as they arise.
(PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T WANT TO USE SKYPE - this is how I communicate with our coders).
Most of our sites are based on our own content management system which is ASP with MS Access database holding the content and settings.
ALL WORK must be functioning correctly and tested by you in IE6,IE7 and latest Firefox, and also need you to test in Screen Res 800x600 and 1024x768 with NO HORIZONTAL scroll bars (PLEASE!) :)
Therefore the main deliverable on our projects are that you have above average skill level in these areas. Please don't bid if you lack these skills or abilities. I need someone who can seriously get the changes done fast, test it and move on to the next task.
If you work well initially but then slow down or become hard to work with I wont offer you future work. AGAIN, please know I want regular people who are efficient and solve problems fast. Our systems are a little different and take a little getting used to but once you know how we operate everything will become easier for you to do.
You get paid for a completed 8-10 hour work shift.
Your work will consist of you being allocated the highest priority task on my todo list and if it is detailed I will often discuss it with you so you understand exactly what is needed.
It could be anything to do with content changes in websites to theme changes, layout changes or the creation of new pages or functions for my existing clients sites.
Oh ! I am in a bit of a hurry to find someone and will need to to start immediately.
