Description

Programmer needed to take existing website built in PHP and make the website multilingual (UTF-8) including English, Japanese, German, Spanish and Traditional Chinese. The current website has static web-pages that include a catalog section.

WHAT I WILL PROVIDE YOU:
1. A rough relational database schema and data
2. Access to the server

WHAT THE PROVIDER WILL DO:

1. Review the proposed database schema and propose changes. The proposed database design currently has 7 tables: regions, countries, languages, catalog, products, product type and prices.
2. Create database in MySQL
3. Modify existing PHP pages to retrieve data from the database in a secure manner
4. Test and fix (if needed)

The objective is to manage the website accommodate multiple languages and currencies including Japanese, Chinese, English, German and Spanish.
