Description
I require a web developer in order to add functionality to a calendar system. The Calendar system is currently PHP and MySQL based with AJAX. The calendar currently has the following functionality:• Can display unlimited number of events
• Works in IE 6 , 7, 8, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome
• Ajax enabled admin panel
• MySQL Database Backend
• CSS based
• Can turn on/off creating events or deleting events and etc…
• Shows upcoming events (in admin panel)
• Creates, edits and deletes events (in admin panel)
• Can search for an event (in admin panel)
We would like to add the following functionality to the calendar
• add weekly view option along with the monthly and individual day views that are already available
• start and end dates for the meetings, and the ability to find timeslots available for a specific time period (i.e. if there is a meeting from 8am to 4pm, then the next available 30 min slot is 4pm to 4:30pm).
There is already have a design as to what we want the weekly option to look like and function, and the start and end date for meetings, as well as the timeslot specification are pretty self explanatory.
Attached are some screenshots of what we have already mixed in with what we would like to add in order to get a general sense of the project. Looking forward to hearing from all appropriate candidates
