Description

Seeking a quick & inexpensive independant programmer to use on many on going data crawler ( spider / screen scraper ) projects. Current projects vary in complexity but all involve reading source data form a text file and for each record in that file performing a series of actions at a website extracting key textual elements, formatting those textual elements as desired, and exporting them to a csv file or mysql database table.

You must have experience in creating data spiders and be able to render them quickly.

You must be available in the future for paid maintenance.

You must work for yourself and not through any 3rd party services.

You must speak english and be able to clearly communicate with me via email or instant messaging.

Hi Matt, I am an expert in developing spidering/data extraction programmes both in perl and php (saving to mysql database if needed). Ive bid a middle amount here as the project isnt described in detail. Different size websites take different amount of effort to extract data from. Hope thats understandable. Im based in the UK so please bear in mind time differences may occur. Kind regards Nash
