Description

Part 1:
- Create a document library definition.
- Contains a field for "original filename"
- This document library has event receiver on ItemAdding: Rename the filename to a unique filename (original filename + randomnumber + datetime, Example: "file_1_20080916-0810" -> old filename = "file", randomnumber = "1", datetime = "20080916-0810" = 16 september 2008 08:10)
- The original filename is stored in the custom field.
- Packaged this as feature.

Part 2:
- Create a document library definition.
- This document library has event receiver on ItemAdded: Email a user which you can get from a configuration list key-value pair. (Example: Key = Email, Value = paulATgeidiDOTcom)
- The email shall contain a link to the item, to the item's parent container, similar to an standard alert.
- The email shall contain a link to the item's "Edit Item" page. So that with a single click, the user can begin editing the properties of the item.
- As for part 2, we're going to have configuration list which contains key-value pair, so:
- Create a list definition and list instance for this list (the instance is created in the rootWeb)
- Fields: Key (based on Title) and Value (textfield - 1000 characters)

- Packaged these as feature.
