Description: We need a complete implementation of JPEG 2000 Part 1 in C#.

Implementation should be as simple as possible using standard CLR 1.1/2.0 functions, without use of external components.

Code should be commecnted enough for us to be able to understand and maintain if necessary, so external documentation is not needed. The public interfaces must allow easy control of compression ratio, progression pattern etc., and these need simple explanation of the options. Whilst the code should be reasonably efficient, accuracy and clarity are generally more important than complex, obscure optimizations.

I alredy worked with standard jpeg images whitch are using DCT (discrete cosine transform) in compression process and JPEG 2000 uses wavelet transform instead. (I demand escrow only after you are satisfied with DLL library whitch I will send to you meny times during the development, then I will provide you with source code also ) Regards, Ivan

I have experience while decoding the PNG format into int[] in C# 1.1. (and not use any component from System.Drawing, but when you need using System.Drawing.Image you can convert from int[] to image, of course i including this utility for you) So I sure that i can do this project with the best result as you expected.
