Description

Database Environment is MSSQL 2000 and operating system is Windows Server 2003

The task is to create a stored procedure which works on a single table and is scheduled to execute automatically every 1 hour (preferably at 15 minute intervals but I cannot see how this can be done in the SQL Server Agent).

The table is called ClassifiedAds, and the procedure has to perform the following checks:

1.check to see if expiry date < current system date. if it is then set status to 0
2. Check to see if Price = stop price and if it is then set IsTrue to 0
3, perform update which says to reduce current price (price=[price-reduceby) where status = 1 and IsTrue = 1

This is fairly straight forward for an expert and I just do not have the luxury of time to sit down and work how to do write the procedure.

It is required urgently and this project will be awarded to someone who can deliver completed within 1-2 days.

I am a S/W eng. working in Database Environment MSSQL 2000 and operating system is Windows Server 2003 I already done same thing,in Inventory system for report generation. For that purpose I used SQL Server Agent.
