Description

Overall goal: "To find the best method to consistently choose
a system on www.collective2.com that is most likely to generate
a profit."

Software requirements:

Req. 1. A program that can populate a database with historical data, using the official C2DS API documented at www.collective2.com.
Req. 2. Add a method of bringing the database up to date.
Req. 3. Add a method to filter the database to find the best trading system. The filter will have specific parameters. For an example of these parameters see file "MonteC2 - Example".
Req. 4: Add a method to simulate the investment gain or loss by re-applying the said filter every month over the past year.
Req. 5. Add a method of backtesting thousands of possible filter parameter sets to find the one that consistently gives the best gains.
