I am evaluating the idea of building a www.wayn.com clone website.

I am a web/graphic designer, so my only programming skill is html.
This is not a bid for actually building a website, but a project study I need before building it.

I need to have a study of:
1. What is needed to build a website like that in terms of type of database required, programming softwares, server hosting the site, etc.
2. Estimation of costs (I'll do the graphic part, but all the rest will be given to the right group via getafreelance.com)
3. What group of people to hire for the project
4. What can be improved
5. How can the website provide a reasonable income
6. How to advetise the website
7. How to overcome potential alternative websites
8. How to stay on the crest of the wave in the future

Below you'll find a list of things I like and things I dislike.
I need you to make a study of how to implement new things and their possible costs and propose new ideas you think are necessary.

I like:
Under Contacts - the possibility that a user can import his personal contacts from mayor e-mails systems (hotmail, aol mail, yahoo mail, Gmail) to his wayn contact space.
Under location - that you can let the site know your trip and then find or be found by new friends in those days.

Things I dislike or I'd like to improve:
I don't like that you have to pay to upgrade your membership (I simply think it's a rip off!)
It would be nice for the user to insert short videos, not just pictures under personal profiles.
It would be nice to have an interesting messaging system in the site, something as good as msn messenger, and I'd like to minimize it when I don't use it.
It would be great if the site could work via cellular too.

I'd like to give the project study to someone traceble, to have a good communication via messenger or skype.
If I am satisfied with the proposals, I'd like the person to follow the project when it's time to build the site.

Since I am a webdesigner (but I miss programming skills except for html, if you can call it programming), I'd also like to find a flexible creative person to develop new ideas and websites in the future.
