Hi all,The details of project as follow:
-Database : MS SQL (no other database)
-Language: C#, ASAP.NET AJAX, Silverlight
-Tools: DevExpress 8.2.6, Telerik and standart tools
-There are at least 2 types of accounts (buyer and seller). But the buyer also a seller among buyers and seller also a buyer among seller. :)
-Sellers may be divided into several categories so the application should be able to respond that kind of request. And each seller may be member of more than one category like a supermarket may offer grocery, meat products, electronics and dairy products etc and should be able to enlisted under the respective categories.
-Most of the time buyers don't want the other buyers know the price they are paying and the items they go on tender and not most of the times but all the times the sellers don't want their prices to be disclosed. So on each announced tender item the buyer should be able to select the seller categories or buyer categories that the announcement can be seen.
-Seller should apply tender and participation may be granted by the owner of the tender. In case of rejection the tender owner may give a reason why the company being rejected.
-Tender owner may request quanlity samples prior to the tender, and depending on the samples should be able to
-The biddings will be online and the bidders will be represented by letters. Until the end of bidding even the owner of the tender should not see the name of the bidder company.
Client Main Types: (a)Buyer, (b) Seller / and on carreer pages free users; free users may not go in tender area but may just post their resumes online.
-Membership types: (a)On tender base membership may only participate/announce X tender and may not see other tenders, (b)Standard membership: may participate/announce x tenders and may see all tender announcement that allowed by tender owners. (c)Silver Membership: May participate/announce unlimited tenders and may see all tender announcement that allowed by tender owner. May access carreer pages but just to search for resumes may not post ads for openings (d) Gold membership: May participate/announce unlimited tenders, may have showcase and full access to carreer pages.
-On showcase pages, members should be able to chat with their visitors.
-On each tender page, tender owner should be able to chat with participants. Only participants may access the ongoing tender page.
-Tender participants may post their questions and all questions & answers should be seen by other participants of the tender.
-Tender owner should be able to make announcement related with a tender and those announcement will be seen by tender participants.
-All the activities about participated/announced tender should be able to observed by workbench of the owner/participant.
-Members should be able to send/receive messages within app.
-(optional)Members should be able to create word, excel and pdf files online and should have a limited space (let's say 2G) for their own use
-Tender owner should be able to upload documents.
-Tender owner should send notifications to participants of each tender whitout selecting everyone of them (message lists)
-Tenders may be real time biddings or may be distributed to time.
Tender owner may close tender earlier than announced or may extend tender deadline.
-Tender owner may allow participants to see bids or application may say higher/lower than the lowest price to bidder's price offer, it is up to tender owner.
-Tender owner may decide the min amount to dicrease on every bid, i.e. if decided USD 10.00 than a bidder may not go down from USD 101 to USD 99 but USD 91. (Multiple currencies allowed)
-The members should be able to see their company performance/history.
The application should support localization thru either resource file or database table, res file preferred.
