| Description: |
I need to get Libsecondlife and RESTbot working on my server.
The directions are listed below, and are at this link: http://www.libsecondlife.org/wiki/Getting_Started
Basically, I need these things installed in my server, and autostarting if necessary with apache.
* nANT * Mono 1.2.4 or better (with .NET 2.0 package) * gmcs (known as the mono-gmcs package on Debian)
--- * Download the source package for Mono, unpack it and install it by launching a terminal and typing:
$ cd /wherever/you/unpacked/it/ $ ./configure $ make $ sudo make install
* Download the source package for nant, unpack it and install it by launching a terminal and typing:
$ cd /wherever/you/unpacked/it/ $ sudo make install
Compiling nant 0.85 using mono >= 1.2.3 may result in a compiler error due to a class marked as Obsolete. If you encounter this error, try commenting out the offending line as suggested on the nant mailing list.
* Download the src package for nUnit, unpack it and install it by returning to your terminal and typing: (optional)
$ cd /wherever/you/unpacked/it/ $ sudo nant build-all
* Download the source package for Subversion and install it by returning to your terminal and typing:
$ cd /wherever/you/unpacked/it/ $ ./configure $ make $ sudo make install
* Download the libsecondlife source from Subversion by returning your terminal and typing:
$ cd ~ $ svn co svn://opensecondlife.org/libsl/trunk
* Compile libsecondlife by returning to your terminal and typing:
$ cd ~/trunk $ nant
