ARTS COUNCIL PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
Project Pre-Requisites
1. Please ask all of the questions necessary to provide a 'firm' bid. Providers submitting 'place-holder' bids will not be consider for this project. No Exceptions.
2. Provide and three (and ONLY 3) samples of your work that are representative of the style and design concepts you might apply to this project.
3. Be prepared to provide the contact information for three of your recent projects that I may call for references, should your bid be short-listed.
Project Description
I need a one page template designed that will be used as the basis for an arts council web site. The site will be data driven via a simple CMS (content management system) that will be incorporated into the template you design.
The page should be divided into three areas: Top banner, Left-side Banner and Content Area.
The top banner will be used primarily for the branding information and possibly main navigation links, and will not change.
The Left-side banner will contain the main navigation links, which will by dynamically generated by the CMS by users on the fly. Consequently it will need to be able to increase in size vertically as links and page content are added by end users and not affect the look of the design in any negative way.
The content area will contain the code for a simple rich text editor that will be called by end users via a key sequence in their browser.
You will need to coordinate with myself and the programmer for this project, which can be done via the SharePoint Portal that will be set-up specifically for this project. Any meetings that may be necessary will be conducted via MS LiveMeeting.
