Dynamic Poll
---------------

I need someone to build a polling mechanism to me that is the same as what's seen on Poll Daddy. Basically, a user comes to my website and enters some data for a question and several answers. When complete the system generates a JavaScript that a user copy-paste's into their own website. Once pasted, the code will hit my server and serve up the poll that's being requested. A user can then make a selection and the poll captures it and displays the results. The poll functionality should be done with OUT postbacks (so, more like an AJAX-style poll mechanism). Please see the example site I mentioned.

Keep in mind I need the POLL mechanism ONLY! I have 98% of the website done already, including tables, script generation, interfaces... everything. I even have a version of the poll control that I've built functioning, but it's not exactly what I want (it does a postback with the annoying "flash" of the screen and shows values in the URL). Rather than spend too much time on it, I would rather someone with the expertise in this sort of thing develop this piece.


POLL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

- Code absolutely MUST be .NET 2.0. C#
- User must be able to place a single line of script anywhere in their site to call the poll. For example:

- Poll MUST conform and use the poll-models I'll be providing (simple property classes)
- Poll MUST be able to block repeat answer submissions by Cookie and IP, and also have a No Blocking option
- Poll MUST be able to load CSS (style sheets) dynamically. So, if the user's poll is of theme "X", then theme "X" needs to be loaded and applied to the poll.
NOTE: You do not need to create any CSS! You only need be able to load the CSS on the fly.
- Poll answers must be captured, along with details of the person making the answer (country of origin), so they can be saved to a database (MS SQL 2k5) for persistence.
- Answer submission should not cause an entire form postback with the ugly "flash". It needs to be more like the AJAX style posting.
- Poll HTML / style must be build from the template I’ll provide


WHAT YOU'RE NOT BIDDING ON:

- You're not bidding on designing the poll. I have the HTML done and the CSS. Although you may have to make this dynamic, you're NOT bidding on any design work at all.
- You're not bidding on doing any DB connections, tables, procs, or anything else regarding databases.
- You're not bidding to build anything with the website or service. It's done.
- You're not bidding on anything except the very focused work for the Poll control.


WHAT'S EXPECTED OF YOU

- Must have OOP skills and be a Professional .NET 2.0 C# developer
- Communication on an "every other day" basis with status reports.
- You must set-up a "sandbox" where I can see works of progress.
- You understand that all code and the completed project is fully owned by the buyer (me) upon completition and shall not re-sell or re-use the code for personal gains.
- Code must be self-documenting with full XML comments
- Code will be subject to completle code walkthroughs and scrutiny on my part.
- Code must be sent to me periodically so I can review your coding structure, practices, and commenting.


YOU WILL BE PAID WHEN

- I have conducted a complete review of your CODE and find it satisfactory


Remember, you are creating code and routines that will pull data, construct the poll on a remote machine, and accept a submit action upon answer selection. If this isn't clear to you, PM me and I'll try to clarify further. The best thing to do is hit Poll Daddy, sign up for their account (Free), create a poll and drop it on your site. Do that and you'll know exactly what I'm looking for here.

When you bid, please provide your experience, references of similar work, and the technologies / methodologies you'll use to build the poll. If you don't provide what I'm asking, I won't consider you.
