Description

Hello Math experts. This is a challenging game for most but I am sure there will be some one here who can solve the logarithm (relation) between some six figure numbers. Here is a example:

5-15-21-63-69-? This is a simple problem to solve 5x3=15next 15+6=21 >>21x3=63>>63+6=69 so the next figure will be 69x3=207.

But what I need is to find logarithm of 6 figure numbers witch is hard for most, but If you think that you can do this contact on PM.There is a good reward waiting for you.

Hi, This task maybe easy or difficult. It depends on the operations allowed for your numbers. Do you have any rules for the operations?? e.g addition, substraction, multiply, divide only? is floating point possible? etc.. Coz if the operations does not have any rules, the possibilities would be infinite and become impossible to solve easily. If you interested, pls let me know there are any rules for the sequences. And I also would like to see some more sample numbers.. I can try design the appropriate algorithm for you..

I have just compeleted MCS from Virtual University with 3.75 CGPA, topped in karachi and secured 2nd position in Pakistan. I am very much fimiliar and interested in logarithms as they are a hand to hand with computer science, so kindly give me the chance to solve this.

Hi, a computer system engineer by profession, and involved in algorithm design. Well i think it can be done, if six figure number first broken down into 2 figure numbers and using simple logarithm rules, we can then find the logarithm. If the idea clicks you and i can also provide a program in matlab or C which can take any figure and find its logarithm. Looking forward Thanks n regards

Hello abbass. This is not a big deal. Even $750 would be high enough for this. I have made MATLAB code for it (with the limited information). i am online most of time. PM whenever you want.. Slight might be required to to make it user friendly. and including additional condition and variables.

I don't think you want logarithms here, an algorithmic detector perhaps, but few integer sequences require the use of the log functions. I'm interested in this project and have seven years experience working with cryptographic systems. I would need to have at a sample of the sequences before passing judgement. Can you give any more hints as to the nature of the sequences. ie. in your example there are two operations which are repeated. *3,+6. Are there likely to be more operations in the sequences. What are the length of sequences you have? Do you know if there are definitely solutions to the sequences? I tend to work UK office hours only, but I will still pick up e-mails at the weekend. Kindest Regards, twills.

I am a graduate student from India in the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I write about 1000 lines of code daily in MATLAB. I will be able to complete this project in a maximum of 7 days, 1 day being the minimum. I would also like to know more about the problem statement to give a more exact estimate on the time required.
