Map Web Viewer Project

We are looking for a web routine to display the maps of an island.

We want to clone:

http://www.jerseyinsight.com/jimaps/Default2.asp

but with a better look and feel. N.B. This is only viewable IE6/7 at present. The maps should come up much more smoothly as at:

http://www.bermudayp.com/trans-map.html

or at:

http://map.search.ch/index.en.html

1. There are 66 maps that make up the grid. Sample provided. (We have hi res originals - colours etc. can be as you wish)

2. The database is a simple excel sheet which shows the street names and map references. Small sample provided.

3. As at http://www.jerseyinsight.com/jimaps/Default2.asp

4. Needs to run on straight UNIX/Apache/mysql

Notes:

1. Might be possible to run the db just off a text file rather than mysql. Up to you.

2. Application must be cross platform and browser viewable.

Navigation should be both by search on name and click on small image of whole island.

1. Will be able to give a link to a similar kind of application that you have worked on.

2. Show work that shows the sort of interface graphics that you produce.
