Description

I want to put similar types of products into a "named product group" on a 'master admin website' which has the magento software installed.
There maybe as many as 50 product groups comprising of 1000 individual products within this admin area.
A "master" category list will be set up and each of the product groups will be assigned to a particlular category.

I then set up Store A.
Question .....Within store A, I want to display individual products by enabling product groups so that if I enable Product Group 1, 2 and 4 for that Store A, those products associated with that group will be displayed as INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS under the correct category.

So on Master Admin, if I made "Johns Baseball Bats" a product group and it had 4 products in and the category assigned to it was under Sport, then if I enabled "JOhn Baseball bats" to diplay on Store A, then under CATEGORY SPORT in Store A, it would show 4 individual baseball bats.
I do not want the product group name to show or be displayed, I just want the individual products to be diplayed.

The product grouping names are purely for our admin purposes. It is hoped that If we had a list of 50 Product groups, and you created a new store, you could literally go done the list and enable Product groups for that store.

What we are in effect trying to do is to CONTROL the display of individual products on a store at PRODUCT GROUP level, not at individual product level. If we had 10 stores and had to individually enable an individual product for every store, we would be there for days.
Please ask for more clarification.

I know magento has a Product group upload facility but I do not think it can be used for this purpose so I am unsure if Mage can be configured to do this or it needs an extension being written.
