| Objective To procure a suitable Software Development contracts.
Experience My total experience in IT, designing and developing Credit Based Systems and other banking applications catering to Corporate, Retail, Consumer Banking and MIS, is over 15 years. I design and implement systems in a variety of languages from C/C++ and Visual Basic on Microsoft based systems including the .Net platform; to C/C++ on Linux and UNIX based systems.
Consultant, Saztel (Pvt) Ltd, April 2007 date. Duties include visualizing the software ventures of the new software business line. Particularly participate in pre-sales and implementation of Payment Engines. Also manage the production of POS Device Drivers and other banking contracts.
Manager Systems, MCB Bank Ltd., Card Division, Karachi HO, Pakistan. May 2000 June 2006.
Responsibilities included monitoring the Operations and Software Development of the division.
I developed at MCB an understanding of the Card Business and the related technologies that drive it. Card Business is the most technology intensive product that has yet been devised as a product offered by a bank. A major distinction is made in the card business by the two sub-activities, namely-Acquiring and Issuance. Each of the activities has its own subset of technologies; they all integrate at the appropriate junctions to expose an end-to-end solution. At the center of all the interaction between the acquirer and issuer is the ISO 8583 financial protocol. Packets of this protocol are switched over the networks across the globe to perform tasks such as procuring an authorization from an issuer by an acquirer with the point of origination of the transaction being a POS device.
I participated in the feasibility studies for a Payment Engine from CTL to Base24-es. I participated in drawing up the specification documents for procuring Base24-es after negotiations.
Was part of the team that launched the MCB debit card SmartCard. I also produced a Merchant Payment System that produced the transactional detail and cheques payable to the merchants each day. This system had a MIS attached to it.
It is just not visualizing systems; they have to be developed and implemented. I have as a developer, imparted guidance and oft adopted shirt-sleeves approach.
Honors: Certificate of Appreciation, Nov 2005.
Developer, American Express Bank, Pakistan. 1991 2000
In the ten year period, developed around 40 systems that included from basic data processing projects, to downsizing and rightsizing. Designed and developed a Credit MIS over 12 years ago which is still functioning with the same data structure supporting the stackings of layers above. Of the most visible multimedia project was the Telebanking. It allows remote users connect to a local center via a phone using touch-tone to request a service such as an account statement over the fax; this remote center such as Lahore connects to the central database in Karachi HO via the WAN over a TCP/IP backbone utilizing Winsock. The application architecture is based on the Client/Server paradigm. The languages used were VB and VC.
Consultant, SAMBA, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 1990 1991.
Was hired to develop a Credit Rating System for the clients to whom credit was extended. The project was a very complex system since it utilized 125 variables to produce the set of Credit Ratings required. The system was built in Clipper 87. It was a multi-user system.

| My approach would be the development of a proper SQL database, accessed by PHP scripts within a browser. If circumstances require a standalone application, then the PHP scripts can be replaced by a compiled C program as a command-line application, optionally with a graphical user interface. The final application/script will generate all report and data sheets as PDF documents with embedded fonts. The service itself will be targeted for a Linux server running Apache, PHP and MySQL. The price will not change during development and no advance payment will be required. The project will be ongoing development with proper conceptual work and testing, therefore the given time estimate of 60 days. Sincerely, CSIG

| I have a solution in 4GL (Free Clone) running on
Debian Linux (Etch) with MySQL. This works for
warehouse management and can be modified to
serve your purpose. Lists etc are generated
in .pdf and can be forwarded to any print spooler/
printer. Please forward details of the forms etc.
Your server needs to be Debian Linux, access is
via SSH or Putty. No Graphics screens, this would
be text mode.

| Hi,
I have extensive experience with linux, developing GUI forms using GTK, report generation (in Excel/Word format), Database Management, etc. I work rapidly without compromising on quality. 20 days is a pessimistic estimate, I should be able to do it faster if you agree.
