Description

This projects needs a read-only Linux which will not be effected by the sudden power losses.

In this project, our system has a industrial PC, running Redhat 7.2 with 2.4.24 kernel. In this system there are 3 I/O cards having driver for 2.4.24 kernel.

The problem is, this pc has no keyboard and no monitor. So, according to the system design, this PC should not be effected by the sudden power loss. Only restriction is kernel should be 2.4.24 because the driver has been written for the kernel, so i dont want to change those drivers.

I can do it. I have experience with embedded Linux. Solution is similar to Live-CD. Root FS - will be in RAM, main FS - read only, Temp Data -R/W.
