Description

Have made the (perhaps foolish) decision to migrate from M$ Windoze to Ubuntu. As a linux novice, I need support. I'm flexible on the speed of support and the hour you're available (I'm in Sydney).

I've lots of questions and hurdles right now - scan your eye through the attached spreadsheet to get a taste, these are my current challenges.

Ideal would be your:
1. being expert in Linux Ubuntu.
2. English being good enough to have Skype voice conversations and IM chats, and we work together using screensharing software.
3. charging me a fixed retainer fee for the first month, then reduce this retainer fee after our first month together for ongoing support as my needs decrease.

Would appreciate seeing your CV/Resume in English.

Hello! Congratulations for migrating from M$ Windoze to Ubuntu. You are outside the matrix now, be welcome! About your challenges, i can do most of them, but i am sure you will want to do everything once you know how to proceed. a few points cannot be done on Ubuntu, but there are equivalents and workarounds. We can do the whole list in ten hours off support, plus many dead times, for example: Me: type command sudo aptitude install xxxxx You: Ok, done Me: Ok, lets wait 20 minutes while it installs...
