Description

Linux-Scripting: Development of an Rsync-Sycript
------------------------------------------------

Fixed price: 15$

Deliverables:
--------------

D1: Rsync-"Client" bash script
D2: /etc/rsyncd.conf for SERVER
D3: Documentation what to change in DETAIL if folders structure change

Purpose:
--------

Synchronization of two remote folders over Internet. Rsync-"Client" triggers 2way sync with Rsyanc-"Server". The script should be good documented.

Prerequistes:
-------------
* Script general useable
* Script uses bash only and rsync
* script has general config headers
* Script uses advanced compression technqiques (avz)
* Script sends mail to defined email adress after ending

Description:
------------
We're still failing in syncing remote servers. Main problem is the syntax within what in rsyncd stands, as well as the to-be-synced folder within the client.

Folder structure RSYNC-CLIENT:

$1=/files/works/ [...]

Folder structure RSYNC-SERVER:

$2=/mnt/1000/works/ [...]

Now everything [...] must be synchronized between the two folders. Duplicates eliminated. Therefore an /etc/rsyncd.conf file is needed at the Rsync-Server.

*Remark: Script will be tested before paying*
