Bid On This Project

Description

I would like to be able to stream my dreambox channels on my HTC kaiser WM6.1 like shown on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2ZflgE4kXs
It looks like the video has to be restreamed to be able to be played on a PDA with the script on http://theyosh.nl/.
I saw information there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=363508

I got a linux server to set up the re-stream script and the VLC server if needed.
HAPPY BID!

We are a admin team and we can do this project, to be frank we don't have exposure on video handling. But our team is an active team to learn new technologies and implement them.

Hi , I have worked on streaming projects. I used VLC extensively . I have 5 years of experience in c,c++ on linux and also in shell scripting. I was working on streaming project where I was having MythTV running on a linux server and the content was steamed to various other clients using VLC server and VLC client running on the clients. If you think that I can do it, contact me . Waiting for your response.

Hello, our proposed system would consisted from backend and frontend. Backend woud be VLC and http server running on your Linux server. Prototype I could develop on my machine, but playlist related features would require ssh access (non root enough) to Linux box and DreamBox available on LAN. For this part I already had similar project so I could reuse some code/ideas. Frontend would be either web based either native app or probably silverlight based, we still need to double check that. So contact me if you are interested. Regards, smukstaras
