Description

I created a Joomla 1.5 site on my local machine which works. Used Afterburner theme, a few plugins. The site is not finished but the structure is where I want it. After uploading and setting up the db, the first page looks and acts the way it's supposed to, but underlying pages either load but have no formatting or you get a 404 error. I have loaded it twice to the live server at GoDaddy; restored the db, made changes in config.php file etc. but nothing fixes the issue. When I look at the code some references to style sheets are absolute and some are not - why?

I used ftp to load; I have some older folders in the root which I need to keep there but names are not even close to or similar to any of the Joomla directories.

I would like to talk with someone who can explain so I can learn. I have several sites, two which need shopping carts, that I also need to do and know I will need help with.
