Description:	I have previously used the JavaScript OnClick method to track outbound link clicks, when I had Urchin (now Google) stats installed on my hosting package. This used something similar to the following: [a href="http://www.example.com/example.html" onClick="javascript:urchinTracker ('/Outbound/Link1');"]Example Link 1[/a] I could then view how many clicks were made as the stats package counted these as a pageview ('/Outbound/Link1') I now have SmarterStats (not out of choice) and wondered if there was an equivalent way of tracking outbound links. I have looked at many of the examples and topics, and don't really understand Javascript, so have not been able to modify any of these. I can do this with ASP redirects, but do not want to use redirects in this case. The link should be a clean link, that will also page Google PR. Can I still use an OnClick type event. Is there also a way, using Javascript to track clicks that will also write the information to an Microsoft Access database? I will be tracking links from various pages. I would like the example code, and redirect pages and database if applicable, and the script should be easy for me to implement in any webpage. I would like the information to be available for me to view by either checking the database and/or a page that allows me to check them online. The site runs on a Windows box, and is written in HTML, with some ASP/ASP.Net pages.
