I would like to track and post user hi-score data from these 4 existing javascript games:
http://www.yukyuk.com/games_downloads/cat_herder/cat_herder.shtml (hiscore is score)
http://www.yukyuk.com/games_downloads/online_chess/play_chess.shtml (hiscore is # of moves to checkmate)
http://www.yukyuk.com/games_downloads/online_chess/knight_game/knight_game.shtml (hiscore is # of moves)
http://www.yukyuk.com/games_downloads/beetle_memory/beetle_game.shtml (hiscore is time to complete)

my webhost supports cgi, sql, and most other common programming tools.


you are bidding to provide the following services:

1)Create standard sign-in/registration system
----sign in form with 2 fields for username and password that can be placed on any page.
----web page registration form that asks for user name, password, repeat password, email
----upon submission of form, sends code and 'follow this link' link to user email, forwards user to code entry page, saves user data to server.
----create page with "enter code" field to complete registration, and functionality to verify this code
----create funcionality where users can click on link in email to complete registration
----enable users to login/logout and track logged-in users with cookie

2)Create hi-score system for existing javascript games
----modify existing javascript game code so that it compares final score to hi-score list and initiates procedure to save score if score is high enough.
----when a hi-score is achieved, routine should request sign-in from user if user is not already signed in, "You have a hi-score. Please sign-in to post your hi-score", and temporarily save hi-score if user does initiate the sign-in, so that it will be posted if registration is completed.
----code that will display hi-score list data on the game webpage


3)provide technical support for 30 days as we get this up and running.


-my html is good, but experience with backend programming is not, your expertise and recommendations will be appreciated. I would like to sign contract and use milestones payment system or paypal. terms 1/4 upfront, 1/4 on delivery of files/code, 1/2 when project is up and running on web server.
