Description

I want a module/ plug-in for the free version of Magneto I am calling a custom cable designer.

This module should allow a customer to design or assist customers in purchasing a cable or cable bundle.

This module will have three parts;

Part A - Rapid Run

This version can be somewhat difficult to use. The system should be able to expand with future upgrades but ultimately assist customers in purchasing parts for this modular style of cabling.

Part B - Cable Assistant

This one will use easy to identify connectors "ends" allowing customers to purchase manufactured cables. These items are also available in the standard shopping cart but this tool will help people select the correct cable.

Part C - Hand Built
My team can also build custom length cables. A customer will be able to select "Connector A" then select "Connector B" and a length. They can then order the cable with additional options like heat shrink or a "snake skin" cover. They can also group multiple cables together into "bundles". I will be offering several different "design on demand" options to allow customers complete customization in their end product. Options would include connector ends, pinouts, labels, length, etc... and each item has a separate price that needs to be tallied in the price.

The module should allow an inventory for hand built items (like individual connectors, available cable on hand, etc...) and also allow me to customize a labor cost as well.

The price needs to update live as the customer makes changes so they always see their total.

The module should allow a customer to add items to their cart and complete the checkout through our normal system

Your price should include one year of bug support and installation/integration.
