Description

One of our suppliers can provide their inventory data via ONIX XML files with daily updates via FTP. We need this data to be converted to a text tab deliminated format File so its compatible with either Excel import or MS Access import.

The project deliverables include:
- A simple converting program that gets this ONIX XML File, and converts Certain Fields in to text tab delimited format. Ideally with the fields "choosable" at run-time.

This project, should be very simple for an xml programer OR anyone who understands the ONIX datafeed structure. This project should not take more than a day to complete.

We would prefer the converter to be written in VBA running through Excel, but would also accept Java code. Open to other suggestions if necessary.

Hi, I did this type of project with Visual Basic 6.0 earlier i did Import MARC21 XML files in to SQL database and Acesss Database. Main aim of that project is capture requirted data from xml tags and it stored in the Data base. so, i can hope i am fit your project
