Description

This is the second part of a much longer project. Therefore, if you have time and want to work, we've got plenty of work for you to do.

If we type in 14973 (in decimal) as an argument on the website then the LCD on phone will immediately display F3A7D.

The “F” indicates the F command
3A7D is the hexadecimal value of decimal 14973

Then the J2ME software called “locator” will send the “Fxx” command to the microprocessor. In this case the “Fxx” command = F3A7D.

If the microprocessor receives this command then the microprocessor will send an “A” command to the J2ME software as a “microprocessor chip data confirmation receipt”.

Furthermore, the J2ME software will display “A” on the LCD to indicate that it successfully received the F3A7D command.

Of course we might type in other values besides 14973 (in decimal) as an argument on the website you have created previously.

Currently we have an old J2ME GPS application that a user can run on a mobile phone. This old J2ME GPS application sends latitude and longitude data (location data) to our webserver. We want to replace that old version with a new version.

If you are the winning bidder then we will provide you with J2ME source code we currently possess for the GPS application.

The general project details are available on our wiki.
