Description

expressit is a CD labelling software that is in need of updating.

At the moment the Java embedded in it to make it run is JRE 1.3.1_03 and this causes problems for it when run on Windows Vista.

We want the Java included to be updated, and any bugs caused by this update to be removed.

A review of the old SE2.1 software can be found at
http://www.cdr-zone.com/reviews/dvd_software_reviews/expressit_s.e._page_1.html

although there has been a minor patch released since then.

I will need to see the source material to confirm the time required for completion. The time bid is a worst case bid.

I am a principal engineer with over 10 years in Java, over 25 years professional development. Many of my Java projects have been Windows GUI with formatted graphical printing. Whatever the bugs involved with the Vista port, I am confident I can mitigate them, and bring the project up to current JDK standards.
