I am in need of a website built. My site will be a platform for hip-hop news and the sales of mixtape cds. I would like my site to be a cross between www.mixtape-bangers.com www.raptapes.net and http://sohh.com with sohh.com being the biggest influence. I would need to be able to update my site with news and mixtapes. I would like my site to be somewhat like www.sohh.com . I'm most interested in the Hip-Hop Daily News and Columns section of their site. Plus how its set-up on their main page is something I would like with the addition of a mixtape section (probably showcasing the most recent mixtapes added to our collection. This website will mainly function as an online mixtape store at first, but become a premier site for Hip-Hop news within the months to come. So its important to have the daily news and columns sections integrated from day one. I will need to be able to update the news daily and the same would go for the mixtape section. I'm not sure on how the storage would work out for the mixtapes so I would need guidance in that area as well. Once again please reference www.sohh.com for an ideal of what I want to create.

I am in need of a site that will be a plat-form for Hip-Hop news that will be updated with new headlines on a daily basis and sometimes hourly. I would like a space on the home page to showcase the most recent headlines (five or four will do). Right below this space I would need a link leading to a list of all news articles posted on my site. Next to the most recent headline I would like the ability to post a photo that relates to that story. When some goes to an article listed I would like for that article page to have a next and previous button linking that article to stories that came before and after it.

Next to the most recent headlines space I would love to have an area showcasing my site current highlights. I would like this to be done with images with caption that rotate through a cycle just like sohh.com have theirs.

Somewhere on the homepage I will need an area that showcases the latest mixtapes added to my sites collections. Maybe this can be done just like the highlight section as well, but with all the photos leading to one link, our mixtape section/store.

The mixtape store will operate by selling subscriptions to those that would like to download as many mixtapes as they’d like. Please reference http://www.raptapes.net/ for my desired set-up. I want my set-up to be the same as theirs, but would like to keep the same feel of the home page as far as image goes. As for everything else that come along with a project like this I will need help in finding a proper host and guidance with handling my online storage properly.

Advertising is a must for my site. I need to be able to insert advertisers photos and links on my homepage and almost every page of my site (excluding the mixtape section) It doesn’t have to be as complex as the ones on sohh.com , unless it can be easily done.

I would like to have an area on my homepage showcasing our Myspace friend of the day. I would need to be able to place a photo in this area and some text about them. Of course with a link taking my site visitors to page all about that friend. Found on that page will be an interview with them and a link to their myspace page.

Lastly I would like to be able to post Youtube videos on my homepage. This is extra and not needed if it proves to be too complex.

Besides the above I would need the usual stuff at the bottom of my site (ie. Contact, about us, news, advertising, etc…)
