We'll need more clarification before starting the work on the project. We've done a lot of work with maps and you may please have a look at some of the GIS work done by us earlier: http://demo.itgc.in/googlemap/map.php This is for some health board to overlay their health information on the map. This health information is typically in a shapefile format (provided by ESRI). Only one software provided by ArcView could be used to see this information (that too on desktop) but we've created a solution that works on web and you can see the information on a Google Map as soon as the information is published by the administrator of the system. This is application of its own kind. http://demo.itgc.in/online-lettings/ Here you can see the real-estate/properties being overlaid on the map. These properties are uploaded by various landlords and agents and are overlaid on the map through the database. The location for these properties is searched on the basis of post code. So, it won't be tuff for us to create your application but need to understand flow of a few things before we can start.
