I am the co-founder of a startup software services company, www.praumtech.com, based in Mumbai, India. We have VERY strong expertise in building Java Mobile Applications and we have been doing this for the past 1 year. We have developed in house products as well as worked on client projects. Me and my fellow co-founder have both done our MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, US. We have both worked in the US for over 5 years. Here is a short description of the projects our company has done. UI Library: One of our first projects was to create a custom UI library on top on J2ME (something like J2ME Polish). We have created extremely stunning looking interfaces for menus, forms, text pages, custom fonts etc. We use this library in all our J2ME applications. EasyTab: This is a personal finance application for the mobiles. It helps users manage their expenses and keep track of loans and debts with friends, colleagues etc. We are also looking into adding a payment module to this application which will let users settle loans with their friends through this application. NewsAssist (On Blackberry as well): This application provides a very intuitive way for users to get news from their favorite news sources. Users can search for news sources by keywords and add them to their list of favorites from within the app itself (no need to remember long urls). One of the attractive features is that we import the icon for the news source automatically via our backend. SalesForce: This a mobile application which we are currently developing for a pharmaceutical company. Using this application, the Medical Representatives of this company will be able to upload customer orders and stock details back to the company's Sales Tracking System (also developed by us) ConfAssist: This is an application that has been developed for Trade Shows. It can be downloaded via bluetooth at the venue, and is loaded with various trade show details like booth locations, exhibitor list, exhibitor details, attendee list etc. Users can easily import exhibitor contact details from the app into their phone book. BlackJack: We have developed a bluetooth enabled version of the popular card game BlackJack. Users can play the game in multiplayer mode with their friends while sitting in café etc. We are a team of expert J2ME developers with expert knowledge of connected applications.
