am currently using Crystal Reports Server. I want to convert to Crystal Clear for my server option. I am having problems with setting up the jsp files to accept parameters and process the reports. The learning curve is more than I want to spend time on right now.

I want to send the user name and password to the report server jsp file. The jsp file will call a servlet to get the database username and password and then passes this information to crystal clear. This is what Crystal Reports server does but it is horribly slow with no solution in site.

Thus my application will send a url with the report name and any specific parameters such as patient id, company id, date, user name, user password and other parameters as needed. The report server accepts this URL and runs a jsp file, gets information, sends to crystal clear and the world is wonderful.

In my mind this is a simple project for someone who knows jsp files and sending parameters. I simply want one template and will create additonal files for all the reports as needed.
