Description

Mobile Application:-
We need a mobile application that runs on any of the Java Enabled Mobile phones
We need an application that runs on the mobile phone at the back end without any interface. The application needs to send request to the server every 5 minutes (The time is user defined and we should be able to change the time) to check if there is any data with a certain status on the server (internal table) if there is one, it has to be intimated to the user. To check the status of the data in the server it has to make use of a webservice.

Greetings, I was looking through your project requirements and I do believe it's something I can complete in couple of days. There is just one thing that is unclear to me: You said The alert should not be an SMS instead it should be an on screen display message when the user clicks on the ok button the message should automatically get vanished." I assume that by this you mean that application should work in the background, and as soon as it receives a message it should display the message to the user. If this is the case, you should know that J2ME doesn't allow this, i.e. application can't run in background. I'm a Java Developer with 3 years of experience.
