Description
This assignment will be for a graphic design/digital artist to take low resolution images (that we will provide) and to transform them into commercial works of art.Examples of what we have done so far can be found at www.reckonize.co.uk but this assignment will not be constrained to this style. Merit will be given for individual flair and creativity. Submissions will be assessed on likely commercial appeal and saleability, so contract award will be a very subjective process.
To help with direction of bids we will be posting web-site links on the project notice board to show examples of image portfolios that we consider good examples of the direction we want to go in.
Also on the project notice board will be posted some low res example images that can be worked on if a bidder wants to submit some samples to show their capabilities.
The job spec is based on a bid for five pictures initially, but on appointment of a successful bidder, and on establishing a good working relationship, this project will lead to regular production of batches of images in future (possibly running to several hundred).
All risk of saleability will be borne by the buyer and accepted/paid for images will be final (we will not be coming back later if a picture fails to sell well). In turn there will be no ongoing copyright ownership assigned to the bidder and no royalties on future sales so please bear this in mind when placing a bid.
